Six people, including renowned Colombian singer Yeison Jimenez, lost their lives after a small aircraft crashed in Colombia.
The small plane, which took off from the city of Paipa in Colombia’s Boyacá administrative region en route to Medellín, crashed for reasons that are not yet known. Authorities reported that all six people on board were killed in the accident.
Among the victims was 35-year-old Colombian singer Yeison Jimenez, who was traveling to Medellín to give a concert.
It was later revealed that approximately 20 days before the crash, Jimenez had spoken about dreams involving plane accidents during a television program. He stated that he had seen such dreams several times and that they had caused him concern.
According to the statements he made on the program, Jimenez said:
“I dreamed three times that we would have an accident on the plane and that I needed to go to the pilot and tell him to turn the plane back. In the dream, the pilot told me, ‘Boss, it’s a good thing you told me this, because something was wrong.’ In one of my dreams, I saw that we had died and that it was reported in the news.”
Authorities announced that an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
